There were so many ways they could have thwarted Thanos but just DIDN'T because the writers just wanted how this movie ended to happen. And the whole time I was watching I knew that it would basically be undone because Marvel had ALREADY announced new movies with characters that Thanos "killed." So I wasn't sad or shocked by any of it. And what the writers again CHOSE and forced in Endgame ruined Marvel for me.

2021-12-22 14:33:27 +0000 UTCThis movie made Thanos become my #1 favorite MCU villain, I love his Malthusian approach in remaking the Universe, and they even managed to make him a three–dimensional character and more than just another cookie–cutter cliched omnicidal villain, especially in comparison to Apocalypse in X–Men.
