Another story told...

Hi Patrons!

Resistance 3 has come to a close, and if it's not been clear, I am so, so happy it's done.  I hope that you've all enjoyed it, and equally I hope that I was successful in conveying the central theme of what I'd found attractive yet so difficult to articulate...

So what is the story about?  All of my stories are about corruption and transformation, which I personally find everlastingly sexy.  I can read the various permutations of those themes all day long...  the idea that there is some external agent that causes the protagonist to change into an overtly sexual creature, totally unrestrained.  Mostly, I think, there is some implication that no one is ever changed into something completely contrary to their nature, and rather the external factor acts more as an un-inhibitor, combined with some alteration to their idealized physical form.

This story is intended to be a reinforcement of that premise.  That once that outside influence is removed, those innate desires, however perverse and twisted, still exist -- though whether that's due to a lasting footprint from the Virus, in this instance, or those desires originated from within is a little fuzzy, even to me.

The overall point was intended to be that in my previous stories, an outside influence to some degree forced the characters to act as they did.  With that influence gone, and yet the enduring memory of it, what would the characters do?  There is something very hot to me about the idea that they would continue on, entirely 100% of their own volition.

Anyway, that's about it in a nutshell.  As I've written to some Patrons who have been kind enough to correspond with me on the side, it's been very difficult for me to take that  resonating concept and turn it into a full fledged story.  I really apologize for the erratic release schedule that resulted from those difficulties.

So what's next??  Very likely, I am walking away from this universe.  I feel there's no more story to be told in it, and the stage was deliberately set for the dystopian Virus plagued society and the cycle renewing.  Whether that's good or bad..?

The upcoming story is a happy return for me, in that it flowed easily for me, and with some chapters already mostly done,  I'm confident I'll be able to stay more on schedule.  Also, fairly certain I'll be able to put out more Linzy!
