2021-02-11 22:37:06 +0000 UTCI may have missed it in a review but something that just occurred to me after having watched the first 3 episodes so many times, is that in the show they never said who was holding The Child in the beginning of the show. All of those people that Mando and IG-11 killed -- none of them seemed like they were in charge or powerful or rich enough to hire that many people to prevent The Child from getting captured by the many bounty hunters that had tried for the long time that Kuiil mentioned in the first episode... Ahsoka Tano said that someone took Grogu from the Jedi Temple, and it was mentioned that Grogu had hidden his powers to survive. I look forward to finding out what Grogu had been up to all that time (25 or so years).

There will also be a show with Ahsoka Tano, another with Boba Fett (also in December this year), another about the New Republic, with those four taking place around the same time as The Mandalorian. Yoda died 5-6 years ago at this point in this story, at the beginning of Episode 6.
