back on patreon

hello my friends (: it is nice to see you again, and i am so grateful for you.

this is now my third patreon page, and i have no idea why i feel drawn to this platform. however, i’ve thought it through for a while now, and ultimately decided to bring back the page. i don’t have a good reason for doing so, but there’s no reason NOT to. so here i am, keeping with my new years resolution; to follow my intuition even when it leads beyond my comfort zone.

luckily, my first two attempts at patreon were VERY educational.

the page i launched in 2017 offered 24/7 access to my personal phone, which i now find hilarious and horrifying. i’d also deluded myself into believing i could share works-in-progress with my subscribers, which made it very hard to face reality when it came time to post. nothing felt ready to share, but i felt like i had to share it, and the snake chewed itself into a very boring spiral. i’m a pisces!!!!!!!

so i deleted it.

towards the end of 2020 i launched a new patreon, an outlet for projects i worked on with my best friend kate. i LOVED posting to that patreon, but things with kate got very complicated (we can talk about it later…………….it was pretty fucked up) and ultimately i was forced to shut it down. kate and i stopped being friends and she moved away from philly and the trauma of it all kept me from wanting to post ANYTHING, let alone on a platform she still had access to. then my year devolved into one stressful situation after another, and i spent a long time alone and healing with my thoughts.

this time i’ve learned my lessons, am slowly morphing back into my SELF, and now have suddenly decided it is time to let myself share things with the world again. i am happy to have you here, and hopefully you will enjoy what i am doing. soon we will figure out what that is!
