I especially hate when my intelligence gets questioned because I cannot stand the idea that someone could see me and assume I am dumb. It’s really difficult to defend yourself about this topic because… how tf do I prove that I’m not stupid lol. Anywayssss I know eventually I’ll get better at ignoring trolls but as for now… I’m gonna fight back 🤭 I’m also an Aries sooo don’t try me hehehe 😁

2024-04-19 17:09:33 +0000 UTCOne of the problems with the Internet as a whole is parasocial relationships, where people online create an image of the person they’re watching in their mind and construct and entire person out of the bits they see online. It’s unfortunate that trolls default to considering you unintelliget despite not knowing much of anything about you. You shouldn’t feel you need to defend yourself from the uninformed because there can be risks with putting too much of yourself online, in the same vein they shouldn’t assume so much about you or your abilities simply because you enjoy making asmr videos. Unrelated I know several Aerospace Engineers having studied with them and you would assume we’re all idiots about 90% of the time. Even IRL, you can only judge what you see of people based on what little they show you. And making assumptions outside of that isn’t advised.
