The hair was an interesting process this time around, I'm already working with long hair, so how do I change it? Well, now it's just a simple, gradual shift from one style to another. I decided to take a similar approach with the color, instead of my bubbly takeover style, I went with a simple shift in color all over. I wanted it to appear gentle, like a brush, kindly pulling out the knots, putting everything perfectly into place.
I'm also very happy with how that last panel turned out, I wanted to get the body language just right. Rosabelle is understanding and calm, only leaning over to reach out to my character. My character on the other hand is kinda hunched over, arms still relatively closed in, but slowly opening up. I'm not sure if I'm any good at it, but I always want to make sure a character's body language does just as good of a job conveying their feelings as their language language does.
