Behind the Universe: Sonic's Head [Behind the Scenes]

Here's the first post in a series of Patreon exclusive, behind the scenes content related to the Jackson-TFs Sonic Universe. Starting off with the titular character, and his most important asset throughout the series, Sonic's heads! This is a peak into my old method of working, if a character appeared enough, I would consider it necessary to backlog head assets, making it much easier to make pages with them. I've got a lot of these, spanning a ton of characters in the Sonic cast. Some that have yet to make their debut actually, I just made 'em just in case that time comes...

Although this isn't my method of drawing characters anymore, going with something much more loose and freeform, I can't deny these heads were a massive help. Not sure if this is interesting to anyone, but I thought it could make for a good start to this series. Hope y'all like!
