Let's not talk about the age
Added 2024-11-16 17:35:39 +0000 UTCSee, now this is how you know that Beau is my coughFavoritecough. Because his birthday is actually October 19th, but I chose to draw him having a birthday celebration now for no other reason than it made me happy.
Actually, believe it or not, this started out as just a doodle of Beau and Sage drinking some beers together, but then I thought it would be fun to have Dirt drinking with them... then I thought, well if Dirt is there, Harver should also be there, then decided to throw Bebe in... and then decided.... Let's just throw Keplan, Fletch and Judas in too! cus why the hell not!
So now the narrative is that all Beau's immediate friends and family dragged him out of the house on his birthday, and had a little get together at the local bar. Dirt, Harver, Keplan, and Bebe are probably not even 21 yet. But the bartender knows them and doesn't give two shits.
I think Beau must be in his late 40s here... so a birthday or two before he hits 50 and decides he's never having another birthday again.
I don't do big illustrations like this very often, so I hope you like it!

I do like it! Also, the composition here has me thinking. Are some of Judas's negative feelings towards Dirt jealousy? Like, about how Bebe seems to gravitate towards the cowboys team more than the ragin' cajuns
