Well Well Well... if it isn't a moment I've been waiting THREE YEARS to get to. And... some of you have been waiting almost as long! I know that I spoiled the ship with all the bonus Jaxsen/Kinley art, but I still think that was the right choice. You guys got a lot of extra content and a sneak peak at their future together, but this beginning is still new-- and I'd just like to say that.... Kinley, honey.... for all the shit I've put you through as a character, it's about to turn around.

Also, I'd just like to add that the Jaxsen and Kinley meeting was supposed to go a few different ways, and somehow it ended up being this one-- which is more tame than all my ideas before it. Originally they were supposed to meet in the bathroom at the concert venue the day of the show. Jaxsen was gonna be sizing Kinley up at the urinal LOL. (A little nod to that old contact list of Kinley's "Urinal guy" "Hot urinal guy" and "HOLY SHIT REALLY HOT URINAL GUY") But, Kinley doesn't have a phone now so, he can't put Jaxsen's number in it. lol.

The other scenario of them meeting was actually the same in essence-- it was going to be a bar. Just a different type of bar. It was going to be a swanky club with a lot of dancing and skimpy dresses and suave suits. I opted for a more casual cantina instead, because it felt more "San Diego" to me. And the kind of place you'd just wander into for a drink rather than get all dressed up to go to.

Last but not least, I'll just say this.... Kinley and Jaxsen are gonna be fighting about "who saw who" first in this bar for the rest of their lives. And only we know the truth.
