Maybe he was a bit of the catalyst because he wanted to make it big and thought Judas was standing in the way...but he still loves his brother and wanted to make it big TOGETHER. I think he's just as heartbroken as Judas is that things ended up like they did. Judas isn't even angry anymore - he's just hurt and probably feels guilty for not being more supportive. It seems like he never cared to be famous - he just wanted to have fun making music with his family.
