Lose the mullet!

Another round of doodles, and this time I feel pretty good about the designs! Idk if you could consider this a mullet haircut or not, but if it is it's significantly more subtle. And, I tried giving him a streak of color in his hair again, but for whatever reason it made him a LOT more girly. And since his design is already on the feminine side (long hair, more slender/lithe) I don't think I wanna add more to that. We're striking a balance here, somewhere...

I DO know now that it's the accessories/clothes that really lean his character into one style or another. Put him in some 80's rocker glam and he's gonna look more like John Stamos again. Give him some skater shoes and rubber wrist bracelets and he's gonna look like an early 2000's Avril Lavigne song lol.

Oh and. . . The other character (that is being such a good boy not giving me ANY design trouble at all) is named Harver <3 Harver Reed Connolly
