I think Kinley would find having a "long distance" relationship the hardest out of everyone. He doesn't handle stress well, and having Jaxsen up and leave for weeks at a time to would really wear on him. In general, even in an IDEAL relationship setting, Kinley would feel like love really fucking hurts. So this...? This is pushing it. (But... that just means Jaxsen's worth it, right?) :')
This must be the first time Kinley ever says "I love you". Noteworthy really, even if he never want to hear Jaxsen to say it back lolololol (Words of affirmation NO NO NO NO).

As for the specifics about whether this is about Jaxsen's job, or them living in different states... I left it vague on purpose 😇 you decide haha. Kinley completely curdling like milk when anyone says anything nice to him, let alone telling him they LOVE him-- yeah this boy sucks at words of affirmation 😂

I feel like eventually they’d decide to move in together somewhere. Also, lol. “I love you. No don’t say it back I can’t handle affirmation.” Kinkey, sweetheart, please keep going to therapy… 😅 Jaxsen’s “too bad” was the perfect comeback. And he’s clearly used to Kinley being a bit of an emotionally volatile person if he’s asking what he did ‘this time.’ He seems a good mix of laid back ‘yes dead’ and knowing when he needs to push back. These poor loves, lol.
