"Feeding The Ducks"

So, I've had this idea in my head for a while now and I finally just forced myself to draw it-- even though I didn't anticipate it being 18 panels long!!!! Eeeek! Since I spent way more time on this than I probably should have, I'm actually going to hold off on posting the regular comic update until Thursday evening, just to make sure I have enough wiggle room and don't lose my buffer :) This week was a weird update schedule anyway though... so whatever.

Vance and Fletch bonding over dangerous stunts is <3 <3 <3 My favorite LOL. Vance is that naughty shithead little brother that's gonna drag sweet baby Fletch into adventures whether Judas approves or not. Which... btw, Judas is gonna FREAK when he finds out! (Possible, part 2 coming???)

I like to imagine that this is actually something Judas and his siblings and the rest of the New Orleans gang did growing up a lot. And they'd tell Mama Lavelle they were "going to feed the ducks" thinking that she'd be oblivious... When in reality, SHE probably "fed the ducks" as a teenager too, and knew exactly what they were doing all along.

I bet Gum Scappy ended up in the ER once... and they were forced to call Mama to come get them, and then she vouched for whatever ridiculous lie they told the nurses so they wouldn't get in trouble... then of course, let em have it in the back seat of her car on the drive home LOL.

These are the kind of ideas that are swimming around in my head all the time you guys, I simply don't have enough hands to get them out. :')
