October Blog update! :)
Added 2022-10-21 21:03:34 +0000 UTCHello Hello~ I can never remember when the last blog update is, but I know its been close to a month at this point, so... here we are.
I don't have anything majorly important to say this time, just some reminders and good news!
First, TLLT has FINALLY been noticed by the Webtoon Canvas team (see screenshot above). For those of you who use the Webtoon app, if you go to the Canvas section, you can see TLLT listed under recommended series! It's like.... right there!!! <3 <3 <3 When I realized that they'd stuck it in that category I immediately called Rowdy so we could celebrate. This has been something we've both been scratching our heads at forever, and I think we were starting to feel a little... at our wits end about it. So just... knowing the comic IS good enough to get their attention is such a relief.
Hopefully the next achievement for TLLT will be Webtoon featuring it on the ACTUAL homepage <3 <3 <3 That would make a huge difference in the amount of followers it has! Keep your fingers crossed for us, and send good vibes!
I also wanna take this chance to ask any of you guys who have the webtoon app (but maybe don't follow TLLT there because you've been a patreon of mine forever...) to please go make sure you are subbed to the series :) Every number counts and the more "Readers" I have the more potential TLLT has at gaining popularity. Here's a link if needed!
:) Next thing I wanna mention while I have you here.... is the TLLT physical copy. For those of you who are brand new here you might not have heard-- but I AM going to making TLLT into print volumes. This winter I am working on Volume 1, which is looking like its gonna be about... 150 pages or so? It'll be a nice size book :) Right now I have 75 pages formatted, and a lot of work left to do... but it's going well! Mostly! It's a labor of love even if I wanna pull my hair out sometimes...
Speaking of hair-- yesterday I chopped 90% of mine off. At least 10inches... and I'm quite pleased! So if you happen to be debating a haircut right now, here's your sign to just go ahead and do it. LOL. Don't be afraid. And, while I'm sharing personal fun facts, here's another-- I should be starting a 4-day work week (at my hospital job) soon! This is something I've been wanting to do for a while but they haven't let me due to staffing issues. I'm very much looking forward to it... no more 5 days... too much... ugh.
Other than that I don't have much to say. I hope you all are doing well and taking care of yourself as the seasons change. Of course, if you're new to patreon, welcome! Thank you for being a part of this lovely group <3

I understand face recognition problems and forgetting details and things like that - I have problems, and I had to do a dramatis personae sheet for one comic. But too many of my comics are, I guess, manga style, where they need weird hair colors just so someone can easily tell people apart. Then I'm still trying to remember whether this comic has the guy who's mackin' on a demon, or the one where the guy's BROTHER is getting involved with a demon, or whatever. THIS comic, though, there's a small enough cast that I can keep track of them, and (to my old tired gaijin eyes) they actually LOOK WAY DIFFERENT FROM EACH OTHER, hallelujah!

HAIR was down 90% over the week as the company reported a major redirection of effort away from the project. WRWK was down 20% in heavy trading. On the upside, the company is spinning up a major marketing partnership with Webtoons, an industry leader in web comics, with much more market visibility and improved prospects for market growth. Also, Mccull has announced the development of an entirely new product line in publishing. We are changing our recommendation from BUY to STRONG BUY. We are looking forward to the Q4 results. In other news, the webcomic The Dark Lord Duke's Tyrant's Reincarnated Villainess's Marriage Monster Secretary Confession was cancelled this week. Analysts say that it's because its title looks like any of a thousand other webcomics....

Also, my brain can't retain little details that well so I actually end up rereading the entire webcomic on Webtoons every so often to make sure I'm comprehending the story and details comprehensively lol so there's an idea if any other patrons are in the same boat as me haha

Other people have had this issue too and I think the solution is not to use the patreon app-- use a web browser to read the updates instead? At least this makes a difference for my phone. π₯ either way thank you for still supporting my patreon!!!

2022-10-21 21:39:43 +0000 UTCI don't know if it's just my phone or what but can't read the comic pages when you post them on here. They're too small and when I try to zoom in, they're blurry. So to avoid having to download every page, I primarily follow 3-4 uploads behind on Webtoon. I just remain a patron for the spicy mail π (and to support you, of course)
