I hope everyone's having a great start of 2025!
From my side, I'll be ramping up things again, and will be focusing on getting book 3 finished by the end of January. There's a lot of cool stuff coming in there and I'm having a blast writing it! I can't wait to show it to you all!
As always, if there's anything that you think is not going quite well or can be improved on, just let me know. All of your feedback is precious, and in February, I'll be taking all of it to do a major edit of Books 1 and 2, before moving on to Book 4.
Also, let me know if you think there's anything missing in the Patreon. One of you mentioned that it would be great to have a TOC to better navigate the chapters, and it will be done! I promise that it has not been forgotten. I've just had a string of time consuming things keeping me busy both in the books and especially in real life over the past couple of months. But if there's anything you'd like to see/have, let me know and I'll see what I can do!

I think Part 1 of Book 2 is probably the one section across the entire series where the plot kind of takes a bit of a break. I wanted it to be a bit of a deep breath after the chaos of the Climb, and the ship is good as a bit of a "relax" period for the party. But there's still stuff happening of course, but it's in the background and in secret (you'll see!). As we enter Part 2 of Book 2, the plot/mysteries/world starts to ramp back up again, and it only keeps increasing from there onwards. As for the school arc, while their term lasts for 2 years (maybe less, no spoilers though!), the "school" aspect of it starts to fall to the background in the first third of Book 3, and we have more plot and more mystery and we experience a lot more of the world too. So, that is all to say that there is a lot, a lot coming still! We've barely scratched the surface of the mysteries and secrets of the Nexus and the Labyrinth, and every question left unanswered has not been forgotten either! I hope you continue to enjoy the story! And please, do let me know your thoughts as you go! I really appreciate it and they really help me for when the time comes to review! (For example, I think I need to ad a little something in this Part 1 to show that the plot/mystery is still on-going!)

On the story, it's going great - I would just make one suggesting that honestly might not be one at all. Right now we are in the school arc, which is good, gives exposition, sets up a foundation for the characters. But later, when it's done, I would like if we came back to the style of the climb. What I mean is, when that was happening, although the focus was on the characters, their personalities and ablilities, I could always feel there was a plan to the things happening to them. Like everything that happened served a purpose to the story, mysteries were there for a reason. Numbers go up is core to every fic I read but what really drew me in was the world building and the immersion I got. So throwing in some plots that expose us more to the world would be great (while at the same time advancing their path ofc).
