Sorry for the lack of posts- I was spending some time making art irl for a family member. But I'm back on my computer and I will be posting something kind of fun/meme-ish next, and then an Aki drawing! I've been meaning to draw Aki but then something comes up like a trend or something which causes me to keep putting her on the back burner unfortunately. She is so neglected poor thing.
Also, the Demon Slayer movie was so good!! Did you guys go see it this weekend? My theater ran out of all of the cups, buckets, and even the special cards so I only left the theater with my memory of the movie lol. Can't wait for the Chainsaw Man movie next month!! That looks like it is going to be amazing as well.

I think the movie was better than the manga tbh. I felt like the final arc in the manga was a bit draggy but man they did a great job with the animating and the acting. like I was close to tears at some points because the emotion they displayed was so visceral and gut punching. I definitely don't think you can just go into the movie without any knowledge of the previous seasons that would be insane lol. it's the big finale. it's like watching titanic but only at the sinking/death scenes. so if people are going into this movie blind, that's on them tbh.

I went to my local mall today, but the only Demon Slayer stuff they had were shirts of Giyu (which I find really funny) and Mitsuri, and one figurine of Daki. I wanted to mourn and buy something besides the 23 volume box set I got. It is such a huge deal for me, to actually find two characters I care a ton about, and have them be on par with Momo. I’ll be sad about it for the next two months. Starting this whole passion project with this fic, gives me all kinds of ideas. I think it’s also super interesting seeing the mixed opinions. I’ve seen articles and people on twitter say you needed to watch the previous/anime to understand it, but again, I only had surface level knowledge of Demon Slayer, and I understood things fine. So I wonder what it was, that didn’t click for other people. Did you think there was anything about the movie people wouldn’t get? As far as I can tell, my local movie theater keeps playing stuff a day earlier than the expected release date everywhere else, so I’ll get to see the Chainsaw Man early in October.
