Shattered Mysterious Blaster: One-Sided.

Greetings All!
This is meant to be the definition of volatile, simple to use but in doing so is dangerous to all involved.
With the shattering, it becomes something with a finite lifespan and with that it becomes instantly more dangerous. Able to cut down foes, or even the user with a series of bad rolls. That really hit home for me when dealing with bizarre and unknown technology.
Something of an experiment to cut your teeth on, though it might get some revisits before coming to its final incarnation.

Description:
In the rarest of circumstances, a Mysterious Blaster can become Corrupted. Once this reaction begins to take place, it begins to burn out in a spectacular display. Like a star in its final phase, its instability makes it something that cannot be ignored. While its previous form upset the forms of balance for this world, even the use of this could shatter it. In the safest of outcomes, it might simply become inert after a dazzling half life… and in the worst, punch a hole into reality.

- This blaster is the volatile form of the Mysterious Blaster.
- Alien Technology: This item always begins with 12 Charges, which can be used in the following ways, all requiring a DC:17 Dexterity saving throw from the targets. Once expended, it does not regain charges.
- 1 Charge: As an attack action, the user targets a creature or object within 240ft, dealing 3d6 Acid damage and 3d6 Necrotic damage on a failed save.
- 3 Charges: As an Action, the user focuses the beam into a line that is 60ft Cone. Each creature in this area takes 5d8 Acid damage and 5d8 Necrotic damage on a Failed Save, or Half Damage on a Success.
- 6 Charges: As an Action, the user chooses a point within 90ft and unleashes a orb of destructive energy, consuming a 15ft Radius Sphere. Each creature in this area suffers 8d8 Acid damage and 8d8 Necrotic damage on a Failed Save or Half Damage on a Success.
- When expending a charge, roll a 1d20. On a 1, this weapon implodes, puncturing a hole into reality itself. Any creature or object within 15ft of the Blaster is sucked through to a random location on the Astral Plane as it vanishes.
