Gemmed Dragon Ring: Art (PNGs)

Greetings All!

2nd Item of Patreon Week, and I am truly thankful for the pledges. I wanted to do a ring, and a sword, and the editors only encouraged the paired item and theme. Thus a new Item Set was born. While some of the language is still getting knocked about in these, I am quite excited for some more use for Charge Pool and Item Set.

This is subtly inspired by the Gem Dragons of old, while the sword accompanying it is more open. I hope you enjoy it as we are halfway through Patreon Week!

Description:

This ring appears at first to be an almost uncut chunk of amethyst, but upon closer inspection the hollowed core holds a silver ring. This thick metal band is inscribed with etchings of intermingling scales and lined with small decorative teeth or claws. Giving merit to the its hallowed name.

Tabs:

• While attuned, this ring is able to contain 2 charges.
• Gem Blessings: The user is able to expend the charges in the following ways as an Action.
  • 1 Charges: The user’s skin is sheathed in a light scaling of amethyst, granting the effects of the aid spell.
  • 2 Charges: Three fractal-like reflections of the user shimmer forth from the ring, replicating the effects of the mirror image spell.
  • 4 Charges: Gemmed Hide, the user is coated in chunks of amethyst gemstone across their arms, shoulders, and back, gaining +2 to AC and Resistance to Force Damage for 10 Minutes.
• Elemental Syphon- When the user is affected by spell damage, as a Reaction, the user is able to syphon 1d6 damage from the source. The incoming damage is reduced, and the ring regains 1 charge. If the Charge Pool is at its maximum, this attempt fails, and the user takes the regular damage amount.
• Paired: This item forms a symbiotic paired bond with the Gemmed Dragon Sword, forming an Item Set if attuned and wielded together.
  • These items share a Charge Pool of 5 Charges..
  • Shard Spray increases to 30ft Cone.
  • Elemental Reduction die increases to 1d8.
