This one is a blast, I had the idea last year but I wasn’t quite sure how to execute it without it being overpowering, and thus the balancing was born. The tying Proficiency directly to Challenge Rating really helped this one click in ease of use for table play, and can be varied as you see fit!
This can very easily be opened up from half prof to full proficiency depending on table need, I left it at half to not be overwhelming to manage at the table. The full proficiency at later levels can help players out against ghost & wraiths, variant is included under the title ALT.
I see player’s clutching onto this in a small huddle as they work their way through a sprawling necropolis that has revealed under a local graveyard, just trying to stay within the light.
