It wouldn’t make sense for him to have already moved on with somebody else in four months after all of the trauma that he went through with his father and Kane, it just wouldn’t make any sense for him to just go date someone new he has a lot of things he needs to resolve on his own, and he needs to resolve with his best friend that he just left so I really hope if there is a new character being introduced it’s just a friend that was there for him when his best friend couldn’t be it’s been 3-4 years. I just want them to be happy after all this time can we just be happy?

This is a really good point. Keane will prob be caught off guard with how things have changed and how they're evolving. They're not in high school anymore and are growing up. Often times, that can take friends on separate paths. I think they will eventually come together, but not right away (as much as that irks me, lol).

First thing first, Thanks for your commitment! Being so consistent with your craft definitely asks for a lot of energy. Secondly, I just love how Keane’s family is so supportive. It is easily seen in the way Keane acknowledges/shows/expresses his own feelings. That’s on some good parenting style leading to secure attachment ;) On the other hand, Onyx doesn’t have this type of relationships with his parents, and as a result shows avoidant attachment - tends to “run away” from his feelings and have low appreciation of himself. Why am I rumbling about that? Lol Anyway, I loved the characters development. Good job dear artist 🥹✨👏🏽🥷🏽

Gathering from a few things the author has mentioned in the past, I think they live in eastern Europe, so it makes sense that they would have likely learned British English and so written the comic that way. I don't think we're supposed to read the story as taking place in any particular geographic location, given the mix of the deliberately generic place names, the Anglo names of the (almost exclusively white-coded?) characters, and the South Korean backgrounds/signs.

I'm honestly scared but I understand Keane and hoping everything goes well!!😭 He just wants his love, his person, his best friend back and to show him that he'll always be with him, through thick and thin.. Even though they love each other, even though the reason why Onyx left was because he felt like he was hurting Keane, I don't think it was technically bad for them to have some time between them, maybe it was needed. But they're going to find their way to each other, they love eachother, and unfortunately thing ended at first due to those around them making those changes for them.. This guy really TRANSFERRED SCHOOLS to find and reconnect with Onyx. Dammit, if that isn't love... I swear, if he doesn't do everything he can to reconnect with his lost love (f*ck any sideline players or new "hindrances"), the move would have been for nought. The letter was actually really good and telling. At least Onyx recognized that Keane was only concerned for him and not actually turned off by him. Now the questions are - How is Onyx doing now? Will he acknowledge Keane when he sees him? Who will the new character be in all of this? I will say, if it's a love triangle, I can't do it (I've dropped entire stories because of the typical, emotionally draining love triangle). I have faith in this story though (what happened with Ethan wasn't an all out love triangle, and Hailey either, lol), and we may all just be bracing for the worst.
