Added 2022-04-16 23:14:22 +0000 UTCAlrighty, all fucking 54 of the new Owen sprites are now implemented! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH QWQ. I've gone through a bunch of the older Repeat scenes and made Owen actually emote with these new expressions. And also killed that "Huh, weird name. Sounds like a protagonist to a visual novel!" line that Phillip says in the beginning because that was written by a much younger me and it causes me great p a i n.
I've also taken the liberty of redrawing that blinding rainbow scene with Owen on Day 1 since that off-model Owen was killing me on the inside. Here are the new visuals shown below:

I'm liking the facelift, and I really appreciate how hard you worked on it, even amid the 2AM shenanigans of your fans. I would also point out that while Philip's visual novel line causes great p a i n, it's still nothing compared to his pun game.

2022-04-17 03:00:55 +0000 UTCHmm, first off just want to say hello ello after so long! Apologies if you don't remember me but your story was one of the first of the genre I have read years ago now. I hope you have been doing well, and that life hasn't been hitting you too hard as of late with managing the stories and reality. I also am sorry if this sounds unfollowed, as I know you have posted life updates and your status, and I am sorry I have not followed them too well on here or the discord. Now, regarding my view on the art changes, I approve of the updated looks and the obvious show of improvement in your penmanship. Its very obvious with Owen's now how much cleaner and more it pops out in the story. On inspecting it, its clear that his body is more balanced overall and shows more of a cleaner healthy body build then what it was. In fact, since I didn't comment on your previous updates, its very good you matched that healthiness with the others too. Phillip now looks more like he could be acting as a vigilante, and Sissel while I'll admit I figured would work out often the least, does look like he does work his ass off to carry a restaurant naturally. It's a nice change and it its one I would like to praise you further for as many artist and VN creators don't take the time to go back and rework their stories to show off their new skills. So treat yourself for the efforts and know myself and others do value the time committed to it. Regarding somethings I am not in favor of, I agree that the proportions do seem odd with the characters particularly now with Owen as he's the subject of conversation. I agree the bulking of him up is nice and better highlights his gym focus mindset while also dealing with troubles in his life unique to his character compared to the others. However, it does stand out enormously compared to it used to be, such as in scenes where they are side by side like your example. He very much screams more muscle then toned now compered to what he used to be, and it worries myself somewhat in certain scenes, such as when he's cornered in the ally or dealing with dangers at the dance. Its very obvious to me he can handle himself, but also I would think his mobility be a bit hampered now given the new physique compared to what it was. I understand your going through the whole story and the current images of them together are outdated, however I feel like that when they are together currently that it does seem more like a natural group. Nobody blends together in body mass especially, and something I worry with your updates may come to distract the narrative a bit. Prior, yes they were thin, and they could use some more muscle definition, but now I believe its only tad too much and just needs to be cut back perhaps a centimeter or two. However, that it only my opinion, and one from someone who has not spoken in several years now. (Good lord I feel old).
