RPG Updates

I'll probably have the play sheets (characters) for the RPG up at some point in the next week for $10 a month Patrons for you guys to check out and give me feedback. It'll have a simple mechanics explanation if you've never played Apocalypse World or any of its incarnations as well.

Comments

I haven't, but I may make one once I release a full playable version

ABBADON

First find one :P Have you concidered to do some forum or a G+ Group for Playtester Feedback?

MapForge

it's out for $10/a month patrons but it's a very early play test version (and right now doesn't have the GM rules for constructing a game/enemies). If you do want it I'm not adverse to anyone who has it handing it out AHEM AHEM

ABBADON

Is the rpg already posted? Or must I upgrade my pledge first to see anything?

MapForge

As an huge lover of PbtA games (I translated some of them for the Italian market <3 ) and this is making me seriously consider upping my pledge! If you'd be interested in feedback from playtest groups already familiar with the system(s), I can gladly spread the word locally :)

Lavinia Fantini

I'm making a full RPG system for running games in the KSBD world (though I guess you could use to run kung-fu themed RPGs as well). It'll be illustrated eventually and I'll also include a setting bible in there with an overview of the setting and a bunch of lore and stuff.

ABBADON

Is there a summery or so of what you want to create for the RPG Part?

MapForge

Apocalypse World and Dungeon World are awesome systems, I have wanted to make a homebrew of KSBD for a while now. Wooohoo!

Ian Lauer

While not as cool as the Cypher System, PbtA can be pretty fun too. :) The name isn't as cool, though!

Oh cheers! I'll definitely check it out

Another cool game that comes to my mind that could work well is also Blades in the Dark by John Harper, which itself derived from those indie RPGs. But I am interested how your setting will be formed into a AW game :)

MapForge

Are you familiar with the G+ group for PbtA? https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/107071334810365821574 A lot of designers that have had very successful games with that system (including the godfather Vincent Baker, Jason Morningstar (Night Witches), Mark Diaz Truman (Cartel), Marshall Miller (the Warren), etc.) pay attention to what is posted there, so it could be a good resource for you. Also, I happen to know a lot of these folks are also fans of Kill Six Billion Demons. :-)

Powered by Apocalypse World?! Holy cats, that sounds like fun!
