Soundboarding: Mini-Commissions

To put it flatly, Mini-Commissions have been dicey so far. I have a habit of putting more effort into things I'm not earning much for than I should. Mini-Commissions being a $50 dollar tier reward means I'm effectively earning half as much for these as I would charge for a typical colored sketch (spoilers: commission prices coming soon!). That said, I'm working on adjusting my mindset and my process for these, and art in general.
I'll update the tiers later, but in the meantime, mind you that Mini-Commissions will be SINGLE-CHARACTER sketches with simple poses & framing, flat colors, simple-to-no shading, and no background. If there are complex details on the character, they may be simplified for the sake of speed; these should effectively be warm-ups for me.
At least, they should be. We'll see how well I can stick to that, but being that I only have so much time in the day and this is actually my exclusive source of income now, I need to hold myself more accountable for how I spend my time and energy, and mini-commissions shouldn't be the bulk of it. Not easy for the unmedicated ADHD brain.
Once I can say with confidence that I can keep up with mini-commissions with time to spare, I'll open commissions proper. In the meantime, please be a little more patient as I get used to the art-as-a-career mindset.
