First let's announce the next episode of DA. I will package and release the next update of DA this month on the 29th! We have an additional 2 more releases of the current version of DA which we will release for play every single month. Don't worry you guys won't be left hanging for the first season.

Here are some preview shots of what to expect. Some of these segments I've worked on them up to 6 months ago and even some unreleased scenes from before.  With a little cleanup, we are ready for release.

After completion let's see if you guys are interested in release of season 2. I will put up a poll and see how we should proceed from there.

Regardless, I'm still really glad with the work I've put in on the new DAZ/RPGM platform.

I know many of you are really unhappy about the change in artstyle. Also because of the sheer number of badly done RPGM games out there.

But remember when we first released DA, there were none HS1 games that come close to the quality of art that we were doing. Even today with new games on HS2, you'd be hard pressed to find games that could compete with DA with our past generation software!

Rest assured I put the same standards. I won't release the game if we can't put out something that could compete with the best games out there.  Don't worry, I can do a lot with DAZ! Stop being so dramatic. I swear some of you are really worry warts. It's not gonna look alien like other DAZ games, hey even if it's in DAZ it's still me okay? If I can do DA in HS1 I sure as hell can make great DAZ stuff.

Furthermore, you are pretty limited in terms of model design using HS, which means many characters look similiar. With DAZ, you can make a wide range of very realistic characters!

Come on, Maeve looks cute AF right?! And the same goes for RPGM. Stop listing all the shitty RPGM games to me and telling me how it sucks. The same tool can work in different ways depending on who uses it.

For example, the current best performing DAZ/RPGM developer in our industry is *** (You know who they are, I don't like to mention other games on my official accounts because the industry is small and very bitchy. Even if their developers are cool the fans will come and hate on you.)

Anyway, I just give my own opinions because I am a fan and player myself and also subscribe to many developers on Patreon. (I will reactivate discord this few days so if you want to talk to me on my real opinions unfiltered.)

I really like them because they attempt make an actual game rather than thousands of low effort Visual Novels out there. They also have great quality assets and animations. (But I am not a fan of their models at all.)

I was extremely disappointed at the new release of their games. They just keep on going with the same formula over and over again without pushing any boundaries. I really would like to see a game come up with interesting ideas and concepts. It's always just grind, find item and continue, no attempt to make any interesting gameplay and always SAFE lewds. (I know why they always keep things safe. Nobody wants to jeopardize their money making machine or get banned with deviant fetishes.) Their models are super mid as well to be absolutely honest.

But I don't blame them. Why change the wheel if they keep raking in money? Honestly, if I just wanted money I will continue releasing episode after episode of DA, cut out the experimental parts and just focus on putting out scenes and stories. We would probably be making 10 times more money and life would be easy. I could pump out these scenes very quickly with relatively low effort and brain power.

However, if I were to release a game on the RPGM platform, there could be so many more possibilities! For example, I've implemented a system where you can build MC's base on your own.

Imagine being able to decorate the entire base to your liking with furniture or lewd objects/machines and place them anywhere you want. And having the characters be able to interact with it.

Or building your harem and have the characters change into any attire you want. You could also command them to greet you with a certain pose or only be able to crawl around the house. Things you can't do on renpy. It's not just about simple MC movement. (Yes you can try to code such things in renpy but why eat soup with chopsticks.)

I mean just envision the possibilities. You could make a character eat all the food to the point where they become fat or starve them till they're skinny. Or get them pregnant etc. You would actually see them walk differently (Like an overweight/pregnant person), it would be as simple as making another animation sprite sheet for each state.

So take a chill pill and drink some wine from Sage.

When I do release a new DAZ/RPGM game its gonna push the boundaries of our small industry. Even if it sucks, it will still at least give other developers some new ideas and make them put in more effort. Why would developers wanna make more stuff if they keep making money from low effort visual novels? Every game is a damn story book. I could complete a story book every year if I make a visual novel.

Again, this is the reason why I even started on this journey myself. To try to make something more interesting. All I can say is just trust the process. It's good, believe me!

Also, steam is getting more liberal with their rules so IDGAF anymore about deviant stuff. I will release all the deviant stuff I want with no fear. We will push the boundaries in both gameplay and lewds.  Times of coward devs releasing politically correct stuff is over. And all of you trying to hate really need to get a life. You have no problem to play GTA and shoot old ladies in the head  but you have a problem to slap some ladies on a lewd scene? Hypocrite.

The only policy I have is I will NEVER make any underage stuff. I don't object to the morality of fake figures in a lewd game but I simply don't like that kinda stuff.

Anyway, hang tight, these few months will be interesting. I will continue to release all unreleased DA content every month, it should keep you guys up with lots of fun for the moment. (There is a lot of freaking content. Maybe around 3-4k image worth and few hundred animations. Carina scene alone is worth 30-40 animations.)  For all those accusing me of milking why don't you go check out the most consistent developers out there and see how many animations/images they put on each 3 months update.

It's hours and hours of work that far surpasses a fulltime job. I do this work out of love for the game, there are better ways to make money.  DA has been downloaded a few million times and 99% of them don't pay me a single cent. That's life of a lewd game dev.

Most of our patreon savings have been reinvested into getting a new rig and assets so there's that! I'm not rolling in stacks of moolah in a mansion (YET! But soon!). We will have a Moolah Mansion when we get into top 10 patron supported lewd games so see you there!

With a release every month, I expect the first season to be fully released within 3 months. With resolution for all the side quest as well as the main quest church storylines.

The biggest problem I have with DAZ are render times. Even using as much tricks as possible, the render times are ridiculous if you want a quality output. I have the latest 4090 GPU and even then the times are unacceptable. I would have to buy at least 4 more of these in order to get the animations I want to a good standard. (No, I don't want to use an image as the background and do animations with the genesis figures alone as some peeps have recommended. It looks cheap.)

I can do so much more cinematic lightings and stuff in DAZ compared to using HS1.

Guess Who? Hahahaha. My favourite hero. The real hero we don't need but deserve.

dont really see the point of being anykind of teir at this point when you dont even get the game and with the updates we do get not much in terms of development happen, so those who pay 20 or even more stilll have to pay
