Hey guys!

Just wanted to give everyone a heads-up that I’ll be taking a two-week break from posting at the end of this first arc. That’s still three weeks out, and the arc will wrap up with Chapter 30, but I wanted to make sure you had plenty of advance notice.

During the break, I plan to take a bit of time for myself and rebuild a buffer of chapters (my backlog has slowly vanished over the past few months). I’m also hoping to prep, and maybe even post, the first couple chapters of the Reaper novella that won the vote! The European Summoner came in close, so I’m sure that’ll happen at some point too.

Honestly, the break is overdue. I probably should’ve taken it after Book 2 wrapped up on Patreon, but I didn’t want to leave Royal Road hanging on such a low note (Alex losing his skill). Plus, I was just too excited to dive into this arc. Funny enough, this “arc” has ended up being massive. It's on track to hit a higher word count than all of Book 1.

Important:
During this two-week break, I’ll be pausing Patreon billing. That means no current or new subscribers will be charged during the break. If you have 14 days left on your sub when the pause starts, you’ll still have 14 days left when I unpause it. My hope is that this makes it easy to stick around and continue supporting the story without feeling like you’re losing anything.

Thank you all so much for being here and backing the series. I hope you’re enjoying this first arc of Book 3—I've really loved writing it, and I’m so hyped for where Alex’s powers are heading next!
