A Pansexual is someone who is willing to have sex with someone regardless of their gender or genitallia, but that doesnt have anything to do with romantic attraction which is what makes it different. A Demisexual is functionally asexual until they fall in love.

It's more commonly seen in but by no means confined to romantic relationships. The term demisexual comes from the orientation being "halfway between" sexual and asexual.
