Hello, this is Warumiyo! Happy April Fools' Day🎉
I'm posting this update about 5 hours later than planned, but anyway, I'll report on our game development progress during the month of March.
Previously, our team had been working with the following distribution of tasks:
Recently, Hiro took an online course in UI design, and I (J) also took online courses in character illustration and concept design to improve our game development and role distribution.

Also, starting with this project, we've decided to develop using Unity for better game performance and various other reasons, so this past month both of us have been studying Unity as well.
However, it's not like we've only been studying—we still need to make money, so we've been continuing with game development too!
In our previous system, we didn't have a separate title screen and went straight into the game. We started with the thought that "this is revolutionary game design," but our thinking changed to "ah, this is why everyone makes a title screen" as we deeply felt the necessity. So, starting with this project, we decided to create a proper game title screen.
Our initial concept was to place the heroine receiving a massage on the title screen, but considering that the protagonist's occupation is an idol, we decided on a layout where an idol video is playing on a TV placed in the massage shop. This way, we could show her idol persona while still keeping it connected to the game's massage theme.

This was my first time drawing an idol character (actually, I think it's my first time creating such a formal, full-fledged illustration). Because of this, it took several revisions to arrive at the current state, researching references for poses, costume designs, and finding the right composition.
The current image looks a bit plain since the coloring of the idol character isn't completely finished yet. However, we plan to complete the modifications and coloring, apply Spine 2D animation, and finalize the title screen with Arin's song playing softly in the background.
Also, right now Arin-chan is holding a microphone, but... what expression will she have and what will she be holding after you players see the ending? Please check when the game is complete! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Just because it's a series doesn't mean we should keep using the same backgrounds for every game—a sequel wouldn't succeed that way! I've created an isometric-style background that I've wanted to try since observing various games. The advantage is definitely that with fixed perspective, you can freely place objects and characters while still conveying an appropriate sense of space.
While our previous backgrounds may have looked amateurish, I'm personally satisfied that they now look considerably less shabby. We plan to add UI elements to this base background.
Also, unlike our previous games, this one will have no time limit for progression! Until now, we had restrictions like 10 massage tickets, 5 massage tickets, etc., but from now on, as long as you don't get a game over, you can play at a relaxed pace.
Basically, time flows like "Week 1 of June" -> "Week 2 of June" -> "Week 3 of June" and so on. We've designed the system so that not only the heroine but also regular customers visit, allowing you to earn money through simple mini-games.
Instead of having time limits for massages, the frequency of the heroine's visits to the massage shop will vary depending on your relationship with her. While running the massage shop, you'll collect money to pay rent, purchase items, or buy information about the heroine. I'll explain more about items and information below.
Why did we design the system to properly display the passage of time in this game? What changes might be visible in the heroine as time progresses by weeks or months in an eroge? The answer can be found in the following H status section.

In this game, we've significantly enhanced the erotic stats elements. The basic concept of the EroStats window is that it's displayed on a computer monitor at the front desk, and in the actual game, you'll be able to check the EroStats by clicking on the monitor.
The information available initially is Arin-chan's basic profile, which includes general information that any idol fan would know, plus some slightly more intimate details.

Besides the basic profile, there are "EroStats by Measurement," "Erogenous Zone Development," "Secret EroStats 1," and "Secret EroStats 2." Each piece of information is unlocked by paying costs, using items, acquiring skills, or through specific interactions.
For example, for the "Areola Diameter" in the Measurement EroStats section, you'll need to purchase a "Ruler" item from the store, and when Arin-chan falls asleep during a massage, you'll need to use the "Ruler" item to take measurements directly before that information will be displayed.
Similarly, by purchasing the "Hormone Meter" item, you can check Arin-chan's uterine condition to confirm her menstrual period, safe days, fertile days, pregnancy status, and more.
We've tried to include a variety of information for those who enjoy EroStats elements.
Although the heroine illustrations for each EroStat section aren't completed yet, barring any major changes, we plan to finalize the illustrations without significant modifications from the current rough sketch stage.
4.Heroine's Standing Illustrations
Although we already had standing illustrations that we'd previously created, since I took illustration classes, I wanted to try drawing more attractive illustrations, so I made new ones.
As I explained above, the game's time flow is structured like "Week N of Nth Month." To match the seasons, the heroine has four basic outfits (spring, summer, fall, winter), and depending on whether you take the M route or the S route, you can see additional outfits for each season. We're creating a total of 12 outfits. I don't know about you, but I think a game becomes more appealing when you can feel the passage of time within it. Since our background is indoors, I believe we can create a sense of seasons by changing the character's outfits.
Currently, we're testing various UI designs, so there will be more changes in the future. This game might not be completed quickly, so we'd appreciate it if everyone could wait patiently.
This concludes our March progress report. Thank you for waiting, and we'll be back with another progress report next time. The cherry blossoms are in full bloom these days. I hope everyone has a wonderful April.
