The song after that one is also the Old 97’s, called Adelaide.

Milamber

Harry Hamlin, who play's Logan's dad was named the 1987 "sexiest man alive" by People magazine.

Ari is my Cat

Yeah, this time he was able to save Lily 😭❤️

CuteLiLRN

To answer your question at the end, yes Molly Fitzpatrick is the girl that was at the bar (the river stix) when Logan pulled the gun.

This episode is so well written. I love how it comes together at the end. I also love how they use characters from older episodes and bring them back. The woman at the end with Vinnie was Celeste’s assistant from earlier in the season and she clearly helped sell Celeste’s earrings and get the baby over the boarder. Also the 09er that sold the drugs to Dick was Sean, the guy who stole the money during the poker game in season 1. It turned out that he wasn’t rich anymore and his dad was the butler. Like that could have been any one off 09er but I love the continuity. As for not seeing Tessa Thompson, I believe that Veronica and Keith are the only actors that are contracted for every episode. Even all the other regulars are contracted for all of them to save money. So there will be random episodes where Duncan or Logan or dick don’t appear either. They just usually space them out more and in this case they have Wallace gone for his episodes all in a row instead of randomly. And Jackie mostly plays into his story.

I could barely recognise Lucy Lawless without her Xena hair!

Veronica wasn't arrested. She was brought in for questioning, and put in a line up to be identified as the one that pawned the jewelry. She was definitely not arrested for kidnapping.

I feel like Veronica had a wrongful arrest claim against the Sheriff's department. Her pawning expensive jewelry is pretty circumstantial as proof that she was helping Duncan take his child and that's what she got arrested for. As far as those charges the most they should have been able to do was call her in as a suspect. Celeste could have charged her son and Veronica for selling stolen property, but she wouldn't have done that to Duncan.

Greg Davis (YT-nobody you need to know)

If you like Lucy Lawless she’s also on Battlestar Galactica :D (and Parks & Rec)

2 fun things : this was originally the lowest rated episode when it aired, and in retrospect Veronica was playing loud breakup music to cover Duncan & Lilly next door.

Cameron Lapp

A big part is that she’s mostly a Wallace story character and Wallace was gone.

The thing with Keith with the “sounds like they got you honey” was him sarcastically saying they had nothing on her with that recording. He had her back even though he was super pissed, because of course he did - he’s Keith. She also was genuinely grieving the breakup because it… really is sort of a break up. And also - I LOVE the Lily character arc, death to birth thing. I legitimately never noticed that before. Like, I thought it was sweet he named her after Lily, but the way it frames Duncan’s whole context in the show at this point just never occurred to me.

So much is going on in this one, and it's really only possible to catch all of it on repeat viewings. Lots of little details to catch.

You're right Jackie has been gone for awhile. It's been six episodes. She was last seen in 2X5 when she tricked & humiliated Veronica with the psychic. I can't say she's been missed by me 😄 Sorry not sorry Jackie fans.

It doesn't seem like you clocked it but Celeste's assistant Astrid was the one in the truck with Duncan & Vinny. Astrid was introduced in 2X9 when Veronica thought Celeste was Astrid's biological mother. Also another great music cue at the end when Lamb is going to Mexico & inadvertently sneaking Duncan into the country. It's Old 97's "Four Leaf Clover" (featuring Exene Cervenka)

Keith might be pissed at Veronica, but she's still his girl!

Worth noting that Duncan was also one of the key people to witness in the Lilly Kane murder case as he discovered the tapes with Veronica. This season gets so complex - glad you got a bigger board :D

Cameron Lapp

A lot of people miss it, but they had previously mentioned in passing that the people living next door to Keith and Veronica moved out. That's where Duncan was hiding out (that part everyone gets). When Keith was looking for TP, he found that they had put a hole behind the cabinet connecting the two apartments. Where he found the diapers. When the FBI opened that cabinet, Veronica was about ready to panic and saw that Keith had covered up the hole.

I will comment and say that I loved Duncan and Veronica. I know it was popular to love LoVe but DuVe was my pairing. I always felt they were never truly giving a true chance because outside forces were against them. Anytime they broke up it was not because they stopped love each other or the other one cheated. The first time he broke up with her was because he believed that she was her sister but the love didn't go away. He just went into more of a depressive state and same for Veronica who was confused as to what happened. This time they love each other more than ever and his child has to take the priority so in order to protect his daughter, he had to go away. When I watched this episode the first time I was just upset because Duncan leaving and their love story is stopped again. In general this was my favorite episode of season 2 (up to this point of the season) it was done pretty well. Can, I say that my other highlight of this episode was Lamb! I love the fact that he knows Veronica more than about anyone at this point. He knew every one of her moves in advance but what was holding him back was Xena! ... I meant the new Agent. I know Lamb is probably not a character you are supposed to love but I really just enjoyed everything about him in this one. Outside of Duve, Lamb was my favorite also the scene with Keith finding what Veronica did in time before the authorities came Thank goodness he found out what Veronica did in time or it would've been bad.

Tia

And just like that Duncan was interesting again. For a couple of episodes.
