I've often said that the real reason nobody ever gets pregnant in TRW is because the pacing demands that I keep the passage of time ambiguous. And even if I do track the passage of time, sometimes whole chapters take place within a day or two of each other, so it wouldn't really matter anyway. So what changed? Well, I've reached a point in the writing where I finally have a definitive idea of when the status quo of TRW will be free to get shaken up. It's still a long ways off, but I can start laying the groundwork for big narrative developments now!
As an aside, call me crazy but I feel like hentai has a particular storytelling edge almost exclusive to the medium. Think about it, how often do you find out a character is pregnant before they do? It's kind of impossible, really, barring the presence of a narrator saying "little did she know." It's because of the hentai-specific application of x-ray shots that readers get the big news long before the parents will, and I find that fascinating.
Anyhow, I know I always say I want your input, but that's especially true here. Permanent change is rare in my slice of life storytelling style, so I'd love to hear what you think of my first big one.

(surely not, but I do worry about the likes of Morgan who is only just getting started) I’d be shocked if Royce is the only guy Bria has slept with recently so I imagine there’s going to be some very nervous people until the baby is born and paternity is clarified (I’m looking at you Fontaine). As for Casey, given her kinks I have a suspicion she’ll be happy and will eagerly be planning the kids 18th birthday party in her head as soon as she finds out.

Bria being pregnant, especially with Royce's child, can have a lot of interesting ramifications and provide TONS of stories/drama. But at the same time it can easily swallow things up and take away from other stories in various ways. It's definitely a good move conceptually and a fairly smart call for a storyline featuring sex so prominently but at this stage I personally think it's too early to have much of an opinion beyond the same eagerness I have looking forward to a new page every week. Although I will say I do have enough faith in your storytelling to trust you won't botch this change like many others would. That I feel confident in at least lol

I don't know if this was your intention or not but in the TRW world sex is kinda just seen as just a fun activity for people to do without really the serious repercussions that come from it. Reminds me of a storytelling guideline from Hitchcock that I'll paraphrase: if you have a scene where two people are having dinner and there's a bomb under the table, you should show the audience that the bomb is there at the very beginning of the scene.
