There's a part of me that really appreciates how easy it was to turn Regina's "combat gear" into a swimsuit. I miss those days of character design. XD

In any case Regina here is from and old Capcom series called Dino Crisis. "Resident Evil but with dinosaurs" is the simplest way to summarize the games if you're unfamiliar, as both games were by the same company and shared some of the same creative talent. Unlike Resident Evil though, Dino Crisis never attained lasting popularity. I want to say they lost everyone with the third entry, or whichever one it was that had dinosaurs in space. Going to space is always a deathblow for any fiction not initially set in space. Prove me wrong? I legit cannot think of an example where that actually worked out well in any medium of fiction.

I found Dino Crisis to be punishingly hard when I picked it up for my collection a year or two ago. Those damn raptors were such bullet sponges I wondered why my character even had a gun. I've never played the sequel though, and I'd like to pick it up to see what's improved.

I'm going through a bit of a Playstation 1 nostalgia trip lately. I've already drawn a few of the big players. (Lara Croft, Tifa, Jill Valentine, etc) but I'd like to hear your suggestions for PS1 babes that you'd like to see. Let me know right here if you have them! :)

Dino-what?

MysteryStreet

Hey I'm all about the artist drawing what they like! and uhh... honestly I cant remember Viki, lol. go for it!

ShadyHart

I forgot about that one! XD

Reinbach

I dunno...Jason X was kind of fun...it was like the 40k version of Jason and with all of those Andromada stars in it. But you're correct, OFTEN, when a series goes into space, it's hard to come back...Leprachaun 4, anyone?

Chris Davis

It emulates well.

Senoj Nai

Nice one! Though I may have picked Viki myself. XD

Reinbach

How much you want to bet Dino Crisis gets a remake in that fancy RE engine Capcom loves to throw around so much in the next year or two? I wouldn't be surprised. they're on fire with the retro revivals lately.

Reinbach

Still a nice one! :)

Reinbach

I forgot about that one lol. I figured I may as well stick relatively close to her iconic costume for my first portrayal of her. :)

Reinbach

XD

Reinbach

I'm sure she'll totally sass that compy. XD

Reinbach

Hey nice deep cut there! I rented that one as a kid, but at the time I couldn't wrap my head around the concept of a rogue like game. I'd love to try it again now, but it's not a cheap one lol.

Reinbach

Noted! :)

Reinbach

For sure, I was probably generalizing more than a little there now that I look back on it. XD

Jeane from Suikoden 1?

ShadyHart

Ah, Dino Crisis. That was definitely a game that I played. I can't say it made much of an impression on me apart from "Resident Evil With Dinosaurs", but the sequel was where they lost me as a player. It went from survival horror to more of a straight action game, which I think was a good choice, but the decision to go down the time-travel/time paradox route turned me off. Never played the third one, but I can say with authority that not even Dr. Who pulled off dinosaurs in space properly, so I'm not surprised DC3 couldn't manage it.

Squid Hills

Posted in the discord, but I'd suggest Callo Merlose from Vagrant Story.

Dorian Alton

Yeah! Dino Crisis was an amazing game! I'm surprised you didn't draw her in her cave woman outfit :-)

Nikuthulhu

I'd like to thank the small dinosaur for it's help in pulling her top down to expose such lushes breasts. ;D

Bob Fink

That's not Regina! She's not snarky enough! ;P

Licorice Lain

Selfi Rhodes or Nico Southey from Azure Dreams.

Senoj Nai

First off: yay boobies! Second: you are correct. Going into space was DEATH for every incarnation of the TMNT franchise. Screw you, Cuddly the Cowlick! Third: I’d love to see you draw Chun Li again. Or mss as the Morrigan or Cammy!

ScuzzBucket

James Bond survived Moonraker. Not saying it "worked out well" exactly, but it didn't kill them. =) Seriously though, I think anime has managed to pull this off a few times. Dragonball Z = Dragonball In Space! Gurren Lagann started out underground and eventually worked up to intergalactic levels.
