Added 2020-07-10 00:01:09 +0000 UTCOn to the final scene of this chapter! A few things to unpack: I attempted not one but two mirror shots here, and can't be certain how well I pulled them off. My tactic was to just put two identical models in the same pose across from each other in Design Doll. I think it worked? Let me know.
Secondly we get another milf for Isaac's calendar here; Abbey's mom, Paige McKay. She represents a bit of a landmark moment in my history of character design, as she's got the first body type I've done that I'd describe as "chubby." (As opposed to just "built thick" like Jane and Millie.) Be curious as to how she goes over with my particular audience here.
Lastly, the stuffed animals on Abbey's wall represent a menagerie of failed cuddly mascots created during my teen years where every two weeks I came up with a new comic that was a scarcely altered rip off of whatever anime I was into at the time. Also one ninja turtle, just because. I know you can't see them all that well here, I'll try to fit in a clearer shot later on.

2020-07-10 22:16:23 +0000 UTCIt's largely a readability function I've adapted over time. Whenever I have a medium shot in a small panel, I give the characters anime faces so that their expressions can still be read clearly in case the reader is viewing the comic on a small screen, like a phone.

Are you planning on incorporating more gender non-conforming characters (like Kayden who is potentially non-binary right? but not canonically as far as I'm aware)? Both of the mirror panels look great. I'm especially impressed by the foreshortening in the bird's eye view panel. Nice job, RB!

Also I read switch the prequel comic you mentioned to me and it was absolutely fantastic I’m all caught up with the story and all. And I have to say I think abby’s mom is a well designed chubby mom and hopefully we see something out of her. But I definitely cannot express out of all the women you drew Sylvia has to be my #1 fav design I have a feeling your keeping her return as something grand. I can’t wait to see more of this chapter!!!
