Life Moments With Lauren #1 - High Resolution

This is a little series I want to start doing, where I share moments of my life with you all. ☺️

Some bits might be a little exaggerated or silly for fun, but the majority of it will be true. For example in this one, I share what caused my hiatus for so long. I got my dream career job that I worked so hard my entire life to get, only to then immediately get my heart issues and be bed-ridden in the hospital for months and having go undergo several heart surgeries.

I won't lie, finding out I had Ventricular Tachycardia and that I could just drop dead at any moment from a heart attack if I didn't do anything about it, having to wear a life vest for months after I got out of the hospital (basically a strap-on defibrillator that would give off a loud alarm when my heart rate went crazy and would count down to shock me) was the scariest and most depressing time of my life, and I wasn't sure I'd ever recover, let alone come back to making content again.

But here we are. It's been a long journey from when I started my first pages of My Cute Wish, to where I am now 8 years later. But through all the achievements and hardships, I'd like to think I've grown a little stronger. And I'm really glad to be back here sharing my works with you all.

Thank you all who stayed patient all these years and didn't forget about me haha. And to those who are new, I want to thank you as well for supporting me and giving my stuff even a moment of your time.

Sorry for my little rant there! I know I said I'd post something special, but I'll do that later today. I am a little under the weather and I got some tattoos today! So I was (and still am) pretty exhausted haha. But I promise I'll post them today for you guys.
