Monthly Update - October 2021
Added 2021-10-20 01:08:18 +0000 UTCIt's October! That means Halloween, which is a ton of fun and provides the opportunity for great costumes, great parties, and of course, great content! Plus the year is drawing ever closer to its end. I don't know about y'all, but I'm okay with that. And, of course, it means there are lots of things going on here in Beauty-land to share with everyone!
Check out this month's update to hear my misadventures with tentacle foley, some platform changes and clarifications, and more! There is always something going on around here, and my favourite time of the year is no exception to that.

2021-10-22 01:17:08 +0000 UTCFix, were you following me around with drones or cameras or something? 😅😅 The foley experiments were definitely satisfying, especially after being stymied for so long! And yes, the Veruca Salt reference was not mine, it was provided by a friend, and both Bun and I thought it would work as a title. Perfect, right? There is definitely a lot of spooky content out there right now. Not that I mind, of course. I do like the idea of releasing spooky audios at other times of the year (I think my first one, Will-O-the-Wisp, came out in April?). I'll have to keep that in mind. Ghost stories are my favourite! Oh yes, more tag challenges, sequels, song lyric challenges, all kinds of good stuff coming up over the next few months. It's gonna be awesome! Thanks for listening, as always, Fix! 💜💜

2021-10-20 19:34:03 +0000 UTCAnd now I'm picturing you making your surprise foley discovery and maniacally cackling "yeeeeees, it LIIIIIIVESSS!!" with a nice dramatic flash of lightning. I wouldn't blame you. There's something so satisfying when a little experimenting turns up just the thing you need, isn't there? Also the title nudged me to crank up a little Veruca Salt for the first time in ages, so thanks for that. It would be a shame if you felt obliged to hold back on celebrating your fav holiday, but we can probably all agree that the place is just flooded with spooooky stuff (not that that's a bad thing). I'd just suggest that ghost stories are still good any time. Horror in winter/spring certainly makes more sense than (blech) Xmas in July. Anyway - fun glimpse behind the curtain as always. Further tag games/sequels? Bring it on! 💙
