I thought this outtake would actually sum things up beautifully. :D
I learned this afternoon that I did not make the cut for Miss Tiki Oasis finalists. This is one of four things I put myself out there for in a short period of time that did not bear fruit. Well, not in the way one would anticipate. I was also surprised that a couple of burlesque performers from my part of the world didn't make the cut as well.
Every non-bullseye carries a lesson, which is the bright side. Great risk can bring great reward. I've had more friends join the festivities on Patreon, and I like to think the campaign for Miss Tiki Oasis contributed to that. And, I'm sure there are more new friendships that will develop as a result of my campaigning shenanigans.
My next challenge is a little more personal; what am I going to wear for my photoshoots while I'm at Tiki Oasis? (I'm guessing I can't do full nude in non-private spaces.)
You've been gems in all this. I appreciate you.
