New Video, My New Podcast, & Spring Updates!

Hey folks, it's been a bit, and since I had this video dropping here today (copyright bots really didn't want it to be yesterday), I wanted to hold off so that I had something to give before I shared some of my previous and upcoming month!

• First off, the 2001 year in review video (linked above!) follows in the same vein as the 2000 one I tested back in December - odds are good that a 2002 one will follow pretty shortly, because I've got a couple other videos that have sat in limbo.  More on that in a sec.

• Second, I've got a podcast launching in May, https://www.youtube.com/@CrubOfficial!  If you're here on the TGB Patreon, you probably already know a bunch of my buddies that have been around videos and streams before and that are on the podcast crew with me: MykonosFan, Trav Guy, Famous Streamer Jtart9, MRIXRT (Moriarty), and others.  We've been setting up and planning for several months now, and I'm excited for us to get the ball rolling as we lead up to launch.  I'm really excited to share more of it with you, and although it's not Prime TGB #content, we've gone out of our way to make sure that adding this to our plate is not going to affect our usual content flow.  I'd love it if you could subscribe (if you're interested in hearing more of my ramblings), and stay tuned for more!

• And third, some updates on the slight delay in videos the last few weeks: After I came back from my little vacation week at the end of Feb., I came down with a nasty stomach bug that put me out of action for about a week.  I've spent most of the rest of the month playing catch-up - but also much of it has been spent dealing with some very frustrating sponsor hiccups, to peel back the curtain a bit.

I've had one very big video covering the Portable GTA games in progress for much of Feb into March, that has just kind of sat around partly finished because of the brand having some internal miscommunication issues.  I thought about sharing part of the video here as a bonus, but if I'm being honest, there was a bit of a motivation hit in finishing that higher-effort sort of video knowing that it could be several weeks at minimum before I'd be allowed to show it (or before I could work out an arrangement to put that one out and give the brand another video, which is what we ended up doing).  After I got sick, that cratered a bit more, since I then had to rush to put together the other smaller videos and prepared some of the further-out ones.

And that's all not to mention the fact that I've been preparing for an upcoming move that also got delayed in part because of both the illness and the sponsor stuff delaying that paycheck!  All of that is to give some insight into why I've been a little quieter this month.  I'm always frustrated when I run into issues providing the level of content you folks here deserve, and I hope you'll accept my apology for the drier month up to this point.  The end result should still be a March that has 1-2 more videos for you guys beyond this (one of which is a fun and also lengthy April Fool's video idea that I'm hoping I can get to you before the month rolls over)...but it's a March that should have had a big 90-minute epic, and that part sadly got pushed back another week or two.  Once I'm caught up on these smaller ones, my priority is to get another long one in the pipe behind the scenes while I finish up the GTA one enough that it's up to my own standard, so that I can get it/half of it/whatever variant of it to you guys as soon as possible.
