Pretty sure we have seen Haki thought out all of One Piece here and there from all different arcs like the powers CP-9 used to Skypia villains to Captain Kuro's powers, to Shanks making people pass out, Oda just never told us the name of it until now. I'm always amazed at Oda's foreshadowing he hits us will are times.
