Also really enjoy y'alls reactions and this episode showed a little bit of you're purity Kiss lol. Haylo, I was dying when kiss said was Sanji nosebleed was from the water pressure. And you gently put your hand on her should and said " Nooo...". Lmfao such a big sis compassionate response. Also, a little plus that the anime has over the manga is the sound of the bubbles. Love it. Brook simply laughing at Sanji is hilarious 🤣🤣.

It originated in the 1960s when mangaka started experimenting with visuals that depicted a mature concept without being too direct. Japanese laws were superstrict when it comes to explicit depiction, so they resorted to this trope to show that a man has naughty thoughts. The nosebleed trope in Western culture is more related to psychic powers and their drawbacks on the user's body. These two tropes have nothing to do with each other.

Why do American and Japanese cartoon characters have nosebleeds when they become romantically inclined toward another person? Where on Earth did that idea come from and how did it gain enough traction to have stuck around in popular culture for so long? I’ve boggled my mind over this many times and I can’t think of a single likely scenario to account for it. I’ve therefore concluded that Americans are just weird 😂
