I always think that it’s a certain female character from One Piece. Then I remind myself, “oh wait, they haven’t gotten that far into the story so it’s no way that it’s her!” So who is the character back there dressed in red? Watch it not even be a woman, lol, would be funny if it was Inuyasha or something like that this whole time 😅

2025-03-18 09:19:58 +0000 UTCDid you notice that ever since the death of Brook, till the end of Thriller Bark that he does not play an instrument? He at one instance ALMOST plays the violin for the Straw Hats, he stops in shock of Perona's ghosts. It isn't until the end of this arc where he starts playing music again. There is purpose here. It may seem little, but I think it means a lot for his entire character. It is mentioned once we learn a more about Brook and what he has experienced. Later on, there is the most weight to his line "Why is the accompaniment the last to go?" Accompaniment? Is a key term here. Accompaniment, its definition means something that supports 'one another.' Music is meant to be shared. Shared, and played amongst others. While he is adrift nothing would isolate him more than playing music especially the piano... it takes the brightness of the rest of the Straw Hats to reignite his passion for music. For 50 years he spent adrift, it took a personality like Luffy to reignite his passion.

Oda is the GOAT. This story for me is one of the best fictional stories ever written, just for me. Everything in this show just fits perfectly like a puzzle being completed and it's hard to find another that's comparable. And you guys even have a long way to go to catch up! just imagine what more this story holds for you guys (and even for us!!!)

You've covered it briefly, but how did it affect you to see Zoro literally, and seriously, laying his life down, and willing to 'give up on his dream' to save Luffy and the crew - doing it sincerely, without any desire for a posthumous recognition...etc.? Thanks. Also, again, regarding Zoro, we all remember the Nothing Happened line, but I feel there's another line he said that people forget - "In this world when it rains trouble, it pours - will someone come rescue me if I start complaining?" How does that, to you both, reveal something of his personality. And ps. Thanks for the fantastic reaction to Thriller Bark, it was so much fun, and I loved every moment

If so, which episode title made you think "wow, I'm glad we didn't read that one"? Also, are there any episodes that you absolutely had to go back and rewatch on your own time? (For example, I probably rewatched Luffy's fights with Blueno and Lucci at least twice, each, by the time I finished the arc.)

2025-03-17 19:42:04 +0000 UTCIt just is what it is. Even without filler anime scene, Toei isn't wrong to assume that people's attention span might not be the best , over a weekly airing show. And as ludicrous as it might be, there always will be some people starting a show at the worst time. Those scenes are convenient padding , but also necessary. I'm only really annoyed over flashback from something that happened in the same episode. Like in 366 , when they managed to flashback to Lola telling Nami that she is faking her attack to help her escape Absalom and reiterating that they are friends. It was in the same episode 366 after a commercial break lol

What did you think about the new caracters we were introduce to? What devils fruits power did you find the coolest, the more weird, the more interesting? I like the scene where they are all around luffy and ussop said that they should hold themself better, what did you feel about that?

2025-03-17 19:18:38 +0000 UTCThere is a flaw in One Piece, everyone knows that, don't get me wrong, I am a One Piece fan, but every work has its flaw, and the flaw in One Piece, for me, is that some scenes take longer than necessary, like the Zoro and Chopper scene in episode 370, and I want to clarify something about One Piece. We watch One Piece constantly, but when the episodes air and the flashback appears, we have watched it about an hour ago or four episodes ago, but at that time the period between episodes was about a month or more, so we see a repetition of past events.
