We are loving this show so much and we seriously cannot get enough. It has become a comfort! Finding out bits and pieces of the relationship with Serie was so good and we can't wait to learn more about her! Thanks so much for watching with us and we'll see you soon for the next one!

There's money to be gained in war, so they fund conflicts for the captial gain. Frieren on the other hand is like modern science: finding ways to end suffering (i.e. killing the Demon King) so people can be at peace and work together. Serie and Flamme can't see a world without confilct because that's what they live for. Freiren wants to live in a peaceful time so she can do her mundane quests in peace.

Happy to see you two vicariously living through every character, even the side characters! You truly pay attention to the details, so it makes the reaction and rundown after worth it <3 Once you're done with Frieren, I wonder if you have already watched Trigun Stampede, because I think you'd enjoy the cinematography and story a lot! I also can't wait for the Witch Hat Atelier anime to come out because I feel like you two would love it also after seeing how much you loved Frieren.

Mages like Flamme and Serie can't imagine a peaceful era, therefore can't take the actions needed to create one. Like, obviously they have the power to do it, but I feel its more to drive home the importance of visualization, and how far into the magic system it extends,
