I read a comment that said in this fight, she was pretty much emulating Qual, who used the same strategy against her and Frieren. She doesn't fight fair at all. It's hilarious and awesome. Only thing that matters to her is getting the win. I can see her becoming a great mage- well, she already is but even surpassing Frieren, if only for her brief time.

It's focused on characters rather than fights kinda similar to Frieren in that regards, but it's characters are very human. I know Frieren's characters are good too but you'll understand what I mean when you watch it. It's a story that makes you reflect on your own life and love your family more. it really is amazing.

Whether it's depicting a human or wildlife or elves or magic or cities or oceans or animals, we can appreciate an artists vision and direction to bring a character to "life". Of course, some people take this way too far, but you can appreciate it for the art and design it is and not get weirdly attached to a character.

If she's your kinda thing, I'm not gonna argue with you, to each their own, but you seem to be confusing your opinion with an imagined Universal truth. It's a modern epidemic I worry they will never find a cure for. You fell in love with a cartoon. Please don't paint me with the same colours ;)

2025-01-11 16:51:07 +0000 UTCSince Frieren is coming to a close in a few weeks, I'll suggest a couple anime that are short, to watch next, if you need suggestions. People would probably rather have you watch more of the older stuff than the new gen, but if you want action, I'd suggest watching Solo Leveling, Kaiju No. 8, or Windbreaker. Blue Lock is another one that I love, although I know it will never win any polls. It's not as short as the other 3, but it's a really good sports anime, which might be a nice change if you're interested. Death Note would be good too. Either way I'll welcome anything you watch next!

And if they are, they are so far off the actual word, that I can't make sense of them
