Even "they" don't go into blood relative territory, which IS an anime thing. Even the slice-of-life type of anime goes in that direction sometimes, the best example I can think of is Yuri and Yor (Spy x Family)

2024-11-14 17:15:29 +0000 UTCthe point of this scene is to drive home that mei mei isn't above grooming her own brother to keep him on her side and working for him. it's pretty clear that he is obsessed with her, and it's by design - this is how predators work. it would be abnormal behaviour for siblings to be naked in bed with each other regardless, but she's an adult and someone who should be regulating her brother's obsessive behaviour, not actively contributing to it. but it benefits her, she probably wouldn't have survived coming face to face with "geto" without him, so what does that tell you? then, you have the conversation surrounding the interaction, and ui ui's reaction when she leaves. none of that is normal sibling behaviour or a misdirect mei mei is a narrative foil to nanami, which is why mei mei, who is selfish and only interested in material gain, is alive and in malaysia, and why nanami, who moved away from material gain in order to find fulfillment, is dead. there are people out there who can and have delved into this way better than i can, but you're being shown the darkness of the jujutsu world. mei mei can and has saved innocent human lives, for a price, but she isn't a good person

I get that a little brother can idolize his sister I guess, but if one is naked in a bed and the other one is watching, that's a bit too close to "Sweet home Alabama" territory. Why make it weird, she's a fantastic character, so I'm fighting the awkwardness real hard, but come on!

So, the word 'Uzumaki' (the name of his ultimate technique) in Japanese means swirl or spiral, it's the name of another anime (horror) and a certain other character from another anime. The implication is that he combines a bunch of curses by swirling them together, spiraling into a vortex, the imagery is like swirling ingredients in a pot to make something entirely new, an interesting little tidbit. When I first saw this ep, my jaw DROPPED upon hearing that Choso and Itadoji are 'brothers' - and while I dont have information from after the ending of JJK season 2 (**and no one tell me, and dont post spoilers**), Im pretty sure it's true "Im glad Mei Mei is still alive" "...yeah" lmao, a genuinely funny moment, your tone said so much hahahahaha. As usual very excited, and kinda sad, for the finale

Why would Gege randomly insert a scene of her having sex with her underage brother when there's never been nothing like that in the show prior, or since? It's very obviously a misdirect. Yes she was naked but that doesn't mean they did anything, especially since he's not naked either... Not saying their relationship isn't weird, but there's no reason to believe it crossed in the physical realm.

He said it's value is when a cursed spirit above semi-first grade is used in it because their technique can be extracted. If you look closely you'll see which spirit he used when he tried to kill Miwa. He now has that technique to use
