Geto is so troubled oh my gosh 😭💔 His and Gojo's diverging paths are so tragic... scared to see where all of this goes! These last few episodes dealing with the past were perfect. We loved every second. Thanks so much for watching with us and we'll see you soon for the next one!

2024-10-05 14:31:31 +0000 UTCGeto and Gojo's friendship really is tragic, and though I don't agree with Geto's methods and ideologies, I am sympathetic to him. Think about it: A young girl was murdered right in front of him by a non jujutsu sorcerer, then a massive group of them are clapping and celebrating her death. He's become isolated and forced to take on missions alone since Gojo has gotten so strong that he goes solo which has left Geto facing the reality of just how much exercising and absorbing curses day in and day out sucks and how hard this job is while he is already struggling with who he is doing this for. One of his happiest friends who loved their job was then killed while doing it, the same job Geto is struggling with. Then, he goes to help a village of non jujutsu sorcerers deal with a curse and finds they've locked up and abused two little sorcerer girls. And this is the straw that broke the camel's back and he snapped. Geto was just a teenager dealing with all of this alone and it's such a heartbreaking and tragic thing to witness.

2024-10-05 14:12:43 +0000 UTCGojo and Geto’s backstories are so heartbreaking. I love that the sound of the shower and rain triggered Geto because it sounded similar to clapping. Another thing I love about this show is depending on whose memory it is the scene changes. Earlier when Megumi remembered Gojo coming to him the first time he remembered Gojo as looking creepy and weird (the hand motions) the scene was darker. When Gojo remembers it it’s brighter and he’s more professional. The same thing happens with the “KFC breakup scene” as everyone calls the scene where Gojo & Geto have the “are you Satoru gojo because…”. Glad you guys are still loving this series it’s so good.

2024-10-05 13:50:18 +0000 UTCI so love how they both sort of adopted kids around the same time 🥹 Also this whole arc makes me appreciate how much Gojo has grown as a character since his teenage years, and how he dedicated his life to become a teacher and protect the young sorcerers in a way that no one could protect them before, like they couldn’t protect Haibara, Riko or even Geto.
