2024-08-07 23:37:54 +0000 UTCI love that Yuji, who normally comes off as a goofball who acts before he thinks, is so thoughtful when it comes to killing. And I love that Nanami takes Yuji’s innocence so seriously. While Gojo clearly cares about his students, the way he spoke about them in the morgue scene makes it seem like in a way he also sees them as tools in his dispute with the higher ups. I don’t think he means to, but to me it comes across as a little callous. Whereas Nanami can seem much colder than Gojo, but he sees it as his responsibility to protect Yuji as much as he can for as long as he can. It’s one of the many reasons he’s one of my favorite characters in any anime. I love the scene in the hallway when he tells Yuji it’s no sin to be a child. He really is the adult of adults and oh-so cool.

He's got an incredible sense of responsibility and empathy I'm genuinely curious about one thing, maybe you can answer it in a future JJK reaction, but how does your initial expectation of this series based on the first few episodes compare to what's actually going on now? Like, did you think the series was going to be this deep, was going to get this serious/dark? Or did you not really have much expectations and you're just taking it as it comes. But yeah, would be great to know the answer of that, maybe at the end of the season or something. Anyway, thank you again for another fantastic reaction!!

This is why a lot of fans are deeply in love with the guy. Gojo is actually older than Nanami, and yet most of the people within the Jujutsu World has so much respect for Nanami. A real gentleman and father figure.
