We made it to the sky!! These were jam packed with adventure and we absolutely love it. We never in a million years would've thought that there was another sea in the sky. Such an amazing world and we know we've barely scratched the surface! Can't wait for more! Thanks so much for watching with us and we'll see you for the next one!

2024-07-29 14:39:26 +0000 UTCWe manga readers have the sin of knowledge and for that we feel the anime has extra or unnecesary scenes, but we need to understand that at the end of the Day anime is an adaptation to the manga and for that reason changes need to be made as were made for OPLA, because the pacing of picture media it doesn't work In an audiovisual media...in the manga there are such sudden changes of scenes where I feel I have lost One or two pages but the anime have filled the gap in a logical way and if not is because Oda wanted to leaves us in the blank. One pace take that out and anime only viewers doesn't need that...all the long recaps can be just jumped as they have been doing to avoid the spoiler of the op with Robin. Sorry if I made some grammatical or wording mistakes...English it's not my native language 😅

I didn't even remember that specific scene, so when I first heard about the theory (very recently) mentioned here by Haylee I didn't know where it started. But seeing it now and seeing the flag... Well, it's a (seemingly) popular theory for a reason. I don't think any of this should normally be talked about here, but since the theory is already known by the girls, there is no harm.

It was just revealed at the summit(?) that there is a new crew that is vying for the Warlord position. Many things are ahead. So far the story has only revealed that "pie-guy" is actually part of a pirate crew... and we saw a sniper who shot birds so far out at sea... and they have a crazy doctor on a sickly horse (like calling it a pale horse without saying pale horse). I don't think we know anything else at this time. They had a great reaction when it was revealed who was Blackbeard. I don't think Luffy and Zoro knew that much but they could sense he was "somebody." And actually he was charismatic. Totally unlike the Hyena guy. The storytelling is being mysterious which I appreciate.

2024-07-27 01:36:40 +0000 UTCI pray to the lord that once they get to the animation studio/design change they either switch to One Pace or something. They're smart enough to understand that the paceing/story can be ruined by the filler, well at some point they just decide to poison the welll. It will take them like almost 2 years to get to that point though. The airtime of the show changes, and so the structure of the episodes become focused on weekly watchers and absolutely, objective fact, not made for binge watching. This is because the last third of every episode is the first third of the next episode. Arcs that are over 120 episodes end up but edited to the actual legitimate content without repeats and playing stuff out stupid long go down to just 30 episodes.

The term "nakama" is like brothers/sisters or family but not just related but pursuing a common goal, a common dream - bound together. For example Team Strawhat is not a "He"... they are nakama. Pie-guy not being referred to as a "he" is foreshadowing that he is not just himself, that he has power beyond himself that we have not seen yet, he belongs to a bigger group. Both Luffy and Zoro recognized this immediately that perhaps this guy is formidable because he represents something bigger than what we see 😁
