We've had a few messages wondering if we will watch the opening and we had decided back in season 1 that we will save them all to watch after finishing the series. And can you change that if you go deep enough to break the chains. Kenny was really not an idiot He wanted to feel peaceful and content. HIs only answer was to get the founding and become slave to it. Like a cop out to give himself the illusion of choice. which sounds goofy, but the more you think about it, the more sense it makes

And Floch literally says it this episode that "this is freedom". Those are facts that we already know and were already explained so i'm very confused about what you mean by "it" being "explained later", like what is "it"

All the people we know are going to die. Some horrifically. And we remain open to love anyway. Because maybe there is no getting out of the forest, becauee we made it.

2024-05-27 14:09:41 +0000 UTCOne of the reason why Eren trusted Floch with his plan is because Floch basically picked up after Erwin's death - He has the same ideals and vision and a dream, just like Eren, freedom for Eldians. Also he didn't want to drag his friends into a genocide (since he never had the plan to use the rumbling to "just" destroy Marley's army but instead everyone outside the walls as he said last episode and Armin pointed out too)
