Freedom is a word that sure gets thrown around a lot, and it gets muddied with lesser ideas. Eren isn't a slave to freedom, but to control. Freedom in the purest psychological sense is being free of the need to control everything to be perfect, and accepting things that you cannot control. There's some pacifist ideals in there as well but I'm also a pacifist. It means doing what you can, but not at the expense of others people. And Eren is now doing everything he can for his "freedom" at the expense of other people. It's not a exaggeration to say that I'm starting to hate Eren, especially by the way he's treating Arimin and Mikasa.

After they finish the series I hope they do watch his stuff. Maybe even react to it? It would also give Krotos some more attention which is well deserved. Although that may be not up their alley. Whether it's a reaction series or in their own time I hope they do. For any fan of Attack on Titan, Krotos' over analyzing series is so worth a watch.

Being a ‘slave to freedom’ and ‘everyone is a slave to something’ are the two cornerstones of this story and its characters. I suggest bookmarking the ‘overanalyzing attack on Titan’ series by YouTube Channel Korotos Mystery Shack once you finish the show entirely and it has time to sink in. It’s a retrospective analysis, so it’s revisiting the insane and easily missed details of this show with some essay style analysis considering every bit of info and event that happens. It’s a jaw dropping and very well done video essay series
