Also if you guys enjoyed these you’ll probably like a lot of the fillers (not including recaps) they are usually pretty good. Love watching y’all it’s made it fun to experience one piece again with people so throughly enjoying it

2024-03-26 20:02:23 +0000 UTCFor what it's worth 2 episodes an upload works fantastic for a long time, and even though your count might be off because of the extra episode you watched back in Arlong Park, a lot of the upcoming arcs end on odd numbers and the even-odd pairs go together better than the odd-even pairs do, so there's no need to add an extra episode somewhere to even out the count again. If that makes sense.

2024-03-26 18:19:09 +0000 UTCThese two episodes are actually part of a mini-story that would be on the cover pages of each chapter of the manga, this is something Oda does to tell stories that are happening in the world outside of the main story. Unfortunately the anime adaptation only covered a couple of them and the rest are all manga exclusives. All that said I love this one primarily because it paints Buggy in a much more favourable light. Sure he's still antagonistic towards the crew but he's much more of a lovable dufus villain than a malicious one and now we know he's on the pursuit of Luffy only time will tell whether we see him again. Also that scene with Buggy's crew in the boiling pot gave me PTSD to Shogun episode 1 lol, thankfully nowhere near as grim

2024-03-26 18:09:19 +0000 UTCI don't know what your specific plans regarding filler episodes are, but I think you should only skip full filler episodes (first are 54-60), so not anime canon. Because episode 50 for example is not technically canon, because it's not in the manga, but Oda said he wanted to include it, but it didn't fit time wise or something, so it might as well be canon.
