One Piece/Posting Update!
Added 2024-03-26 14:47:49 +0000 UTCWe're having some major issues with Patreon uploading and processing for the last week or so. Please bear with us as we try and get these OP reactions up asap! Considering switching off of Patreon Video because of this. Has anyone experienced other creators using unlisted YouTube links? And if so, does that work well for them/you as a user?

2024-03-27 00:16:53 +0000 UTCHave you tried contacting Patreon support because of this issue? Maybe it's just temporary. As for One Piece reaction videos on youtube, every one creator I've watched years ago got copyright striked from Toei at some point so I guess it's inevitable because the policies are still the same or even more strict now. I don't know if videos marked as unlisted can escape the copyright strike. Just try to not get all of your videos lost if this worst case scenario ever happens...

2024-03-26 16:32:38 +0000 UTCHeisuten YT did the unlisted videos for a while I think until he switched to Vimeo. But the subscription/payment as member works through YT. This is finicky though since you have to select s video link from a long list on Discord. At least that's what he was doing. Not sure about better ways.

2024-03-26 15:35:58 +0000 UTCI know from other reactors that they usually upload to Vimeo and link the video to Patreon, it happens quite often actually, I would say half of all of their videos are uploaded to Vimeo. It is quite easy to avoid Patreon problems; videos usually get uploaded quickly.

2024-03-26 15:06:39 +0000 UTCLadies! I'm not anyone else's Patreon but some time ago yes and of course, they used unlisted YouTube videos for their full reactions and their regular channels for the edited versions. I didn't see there was any problem with that way.

2024-03-26 15:00:34 +0000 UTCFor your editted videos, youtube would be perfect as it gives you watch time before they go public... though if you have issues with copyright, youtube will flag your videos making historical content on patreon unwatchable. Other reactors seem to use vimeo when having issues like this (happens often)

2024-03-26 14:58:52 +0000 UTCIt could just be that Patreon needs to update/maintain their servers, or they're experiencing abnormally high traffic. If this is the case, then Patreon should get this fixed soon as it will be a problem for other creators too. I'm not currently following anyone else right now, so I can't verify.

2024-03-26 14:55:20 +0000 UTCI think using unlisted YouTube videos is a much better option than Patreon videos. ☺️ I don’t think Patreon really thought about making their videos efficient to watch because if they don’t load correctly or you have a poor internet connection you end up having low resolution videos which is NOT your fault as a creator.
