This foreshadows that they were expecting the scouts and were planning this all along

A lot of reactors miss a few and then it’s awkward pushing toward Season 4 trying to get them to react to “old” content. Love that they nailed it right out the gate so we can purely enjoy the journey here on out!

The growth for Armin in this episode is great, one of the most observant and clever guys in the show. Love that he's gotten to the point where Erwin has trust in his judgments and observations.
