Heck, partway through I was surprised more people hadn't died yet, but it looks like they let the viewers build a connection for a little bit longer before ripping it all away at once for maximum effect 😭😭😭

2024-01-13 02:34:04 +0000 UTCthink he just means getting killed by smasher is a pretty solid way for an edgerunner to die, better than going psycho or dying to some lowly gangers, the fact that she repeatedly went up against mega corps and it took someone like smasher to actually get her is the kind of story that will make her a legend

2024-01-08 14:44:47 +0000 UTCHi there. I signed up for your reactions to this show. Your reaction is the common reaction. Cyberpunk as a whole is a depressing genre of literature. It’s actually dystopian with society being crushed under the control of large corporations. There are a lot of movies specifically that have lead us here and the mistrust of giant corporations and how they oppress us is the central element to all their worlds. Films like Blade Runner, Ghost in the Shell, Akira, Robocop, Upgrade and even Ready Player One all have this in them. If you want some more recommendations of the genre, maybe some with happier endings I’d love give them. Thanks for reacting!

It's an amazing game with great graphics, story, music, voice acting and immersion. The game has completly different characters but you will recognize a lot of places in Nights City from the TV show. Just like David you play as the character V (male or female) and you are an edgerunner who want's to reach the top and become a NC Legend. It's so fun to roam around Night City and your choices during the playthrough will affect the story and the ending. The game also recently released an increbile expansion.
